The graves themselves are cold and dirty, and have been for centuries. Most of the people who are buried beneath the castle were residents of the castle, although one was Lord of the entire land at one time.
He over took the castle in 1207, but he did not live long enough to see Castle Covenant become the center of power in 1210. He died in a duel, and the man who killed him is also buried here, but no one remembers where, since his grave isn't labeled.
Torches line each column, and you can make out only a few of the names on the tombs. This place gives you the chills.
You see Grave of Lord Covenant.
