Triton's Pool

Its quiet here. The silence that surrounds you, softly, is deep and blue, above and below. Shafts of light occasionally make their way into your vision, fleeting, ghostly, like Triton himself. They arrive

and they leave, flickering. Sometimes they are solid pillars of light, edge-clean, sometimes soft shadows, but the light ploughs down through the water and illuminates this place brightly. The walls

are visible, tiled, clean and cool blue, you can see the extents of this space. Above you, sunlight glistens and twinkles in refracted arcs. There are seats, places to rest, anchored to the walls within easy reach. The floor is soft and dark blue, and as you look down your air bubbles pass your face in

streams of glittering rounded shapes. You feel comfortable here.
